We took the boys to the skate board this wknd. They had a lot of fun attempting tricks. They were doing great and having fun. I, on the other hand, was a little nervous and - like most of the moms on the sidelines - I was praying that they wouldn't break any bones. fyi - skate park smells like stinky boys!

Wedding pics

I photographed my first wedding - a sweet couple in our church. I had a blast and enjoyed it tremendously - especially b/c the bride and groom were extremely easy to work with and very laid back. Overall I was pleased with the shots. I learned a lot and would definitely do some things

differently next time around.

Monkey on his back

This is our dog, Blaze. We like to make fun of him, well, I should only speak for myself. He looks like a nerd dog. One ear gets kinda cockeyed when he is interested in something - just a dorky lookin' thing.
Well, I caught this pic of him after he had been playing with the kid's stuffed monkey - you know the ones that have velcrow on their hands? Somehow Blaze got his body in the monkey's arms and couldn't get him off. I love it.

Miss Amewica

Olivia and I were walking into the house one day while Luke was in Israel and this is what she said:
Olivia: (BIG SIGH) "Well...... now I am just Olivia."
Me: "What do you mean you are just Olivia?"
Olivia: (Another BIG SIGH....)" Well, now that daddy's gone I am not Miss Amewica (America) anymore, I am just Olivia.
