One more picture

One more picture of the snow from today. It has not stopped coming down all day.

A wee bit cold

We LOVE hot chocolate on a cold day!

We also love making and eating cookies

Ryder wishing he were outside running with the boys

Oh my goodness! It is snowing so hard right now. The boys have been outside most of the day - coming inside to thaw out and drink hot chocolate. It is really beautiful!

This weekend

Wow - this past week has been crazy. Crazy in a good way!

My mom and dad flew in from Austin and my in-laws drove in from Nashville. We had such a great time cooking and eating and eating and eating! I took their family photos at Woolarock - check my photo. blog in the near future. The kids had a blast hanging outside skateboarding. Lisa and Todd's 3 boys were here and we had a few neighborhood boys too. Olivia wasn't too thrilled with the amount of boys - but in between Marmee, Aunt Lisa, Papa and Mimi spoiling her - she was just fine. I hated seeing everyone leave - really wish they could have stayed longer. I am just so glad that it wasn't us in the car for 12 hours driving!

Notice the Nilla Wafer in his hand? Those always help!

Lane's Baptism

Yesterday my oldest, Lane got baptized. It was a very special day especially because Luke got to baptize him. Lane played it very cool up until right before when he realized that he still had a bunch of unanswered questions - not about being a christian, but about how deep the water was, how long he would be under, etc. I think he just got a wee bit nervous.

We let him pick out where he wanted to eat dinner and ended up at Mazzio's. He was very relieved it was over.
1 down...3 to go :-)

Pictures from the weekend

Nephew, Parker kicking back playing the guitar

There was so much food for the Thanksgiving meal that we had to have a table for it alone. We needed about 3 plates each to hold all the food - well...maybe I should just speak for myself.

Papa and Olivia enjoyed relaxing on the couch while watching football - Olivia wasn't too into the football and headed for the outdoors where there were LOTS of boys to play with.

Thanksgiving Feast at preschool

Olivia had her Thanksgiving presentation at preschool last week. It was so precious. She dressed up and sang a couple songs. She said she didn't like getting up on stage b/c she was just a little scared.

Church Performance

I had just mentioned to a friend at our new church that I always get a little nervous when Cam gets up on stage. Never know what he might do. Well, at the end of the Stomp and Praise musical that the children performed they had the kids stay still for the parents to take pictures and it wasn't until I got home and downloaded the pictures did I see what Cam was doing! The top picture is the original and the second one is a zoomed in image.

Below are some pictures of Ryder that I took right after he woke up. I love it when he wakes up in a great mood with his crazy hair. I put him on our bed and within minutes the other kids are on the bed playing with him. What's really nice about Ryder in the morning is that he doesn't have morning breath yet!
