This weekend we officially introduced Fall in our family. On Friday night we went to a hayride/weenie roast with all the deacons and church staff. Then on Saturday night we went to another farm for another hayride/weenie roast with the 20's class. It was so much fun! The kids had so much room to run and so much land to explore (and not to mention there seemed to be more kids than adults on both nights). I loved being able to fellowship with church members that I usually don't see on Sundays. We sang worship songs around the campfire and made smores. It was an awesome memory made. Both nights were so beautiful. It was a little chilly - but wouldn't be the same if it were hot. Just perfect.
There were animals everywhere at the second farm (The Feslers). I'm not kidding - they had more dogs and cats than we could count, horses, goats, donkeys, some type of turkey looking birds, and I think I even saw a llama! We really didn't smell all that great when we left the farm.
I think the boys used an entire bag of marshmallows just for themselves. Bit of a belly ache by the time we left.
