Eeyore turns 45!

On Saturday (before the homeless) we went to Eeyore's 45th birthday party. I have never been, but have heard a lot about it - so kinda knew what to expect. Eeyore's bday is not just for kids. I mean, there were a lot of kids there and a lot of adults that had kid-like behavior. I can picture Luke and I when we are 80 going out there and just sitting off in the back people-watching. It was great, there was a lot of craziness going on.

I just wonder what they do when they are ready to get off. Just fall over? hmm...

Saturday with the homeless

On Saturday we went and helped feed the homeless grilled hamburgers with our church. Luke and I took the older boys and left the little ones at home. We all had such an amazing experience!! The majority of the people we served were so kind and grateful. We couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was on the way home and how we look forward to doing it monthly!

More newborn pics

Yesterday I took some pictures of this very precious, very laid back newborn. He was so much fun to photograph for many reasons, but mainly because we could put him in all sorts of positions and he would stay asleep! Thanks to baby's mom and dad for letting me take pictures of him!

Wknd at Kimbo's

This weekend we decided to go to visit my cousin, Kim at her new house in Houston. Kim is the closest thing to a sister I have ever had. Her mother was my mom's identical twin (she passed away last year). She's awesome and so are her 2 boys. We had so much fun. She is the only house on a culdesac (sp?) and has over 8 acres. The kids ran and ran and ran some more and we didn't have to worry about getting hit by a car or bothering the neighbors. It was awesome! This picture is of the back of her house. Behind me was all woods that felt like you were in the jungle - not that I have ever been in the jungle, but I can imagine ;-)!

We went to the Crawfish Festival in Old Spring Town. Interesting.

This is Ryder on a motorcycle ride. This is before he almost fell off and we had to yell at the worker to stop it!

I love Old Spring Town. Especially when there aren't hundreds of crawfish lovers!

The weekend was also all about frogs. They caught so many frogs and played with them the entire time.

I'm not sure who had more fun on the 4-wheelers - mimi or the kids.

Field Trip to the zoo

Olivia and her sweet friend

Have no idea who these people are, but I just thought was a sweet father/son picture. Hopefully it's father/son ;-{ !

Newborn Pics

I got to take pictures the other day of a friend's newborn and his big sister. They are both so adorable and big sister was so much fun in front of the camera!

Miss America turns 6

My niece LOVED the cookie cake!

Chad giving Campbell a little help on the slip-n-slide

That night we took Olivia to Libby Lue in the mall with one of her new school friends. It's this awesome, very girly store that you can get your hair, makeup and nails done and dress up. It also has the best selection of Hannah Montana nick-nacks. They turned out so precious. Ryder was as into it as the girls were. He loved his "peacock" - even though it was pink.

Wow - I don't care how bad the exposure is on this picture - it is definitely going in with the other pics I am saving for his wedding day.

Olivia was so excited when her Papa showed up to surprise her at lunch
