Thankful at Thirty-three

For obvious reasons I have been thinking a lot this past week about what I am thankful for at this point in my life. I can't believe I am already 33! Wow - life is really going by fast. Have I not said that a gazillion times!
I am thankful in this season of my life that I have hands. Hands to serve my family and others, hands to prepare food for my family, tuck my kids in and give them hugs. Hands to hold with my best friend, my "love-muffin". My hands can clap for my Savior during worship and for my kids on the field. My hands are not all that appealing - they look worn already. Luke sometimes will look at them and say with pity in his eyes "we're getting old". I think that having worn hands is not all that bad - I want my hands to be worn long before their years from
serving and loving others!
I have so many other things that I am thankful for as well. But, my hands are on the top of my list this year.

Hello there, this is great. You have some really nice pictures of your family. Lea Ann and I will be moving to Cartersville GA with my new job. Our kids are doing fine and mixed about the move. Think they will be fine once we get settled. Hope all is well.
Take Care,
Bruce

Your hands have a glow from them because of all the good and love they have given. Be proud of every wrinkle you see because they express the love you show in everything you do.
Love you,
Mom

Hi Melsas from the Campos family,
Steph told us about this last night, love it! And Amy, I hit 40 a month before your birthday, it is definitely creeping up on us, but one look at our beautiful children makes it all more than worthwhile. And look at all you do, from praise and worship, cheering on your kids, to your photography, to all of the day to day mom and wife stuff...truly, your hands are a blessing. My blog for homeschooling can be found at www.homeschoolblogger.com/hugabunchmom if you ever want to hop over, it's nowhere near as great as yours, but it works. We are wishing you and your family a warm and cozy afternoon in the midst of this ice storm!
