Right when we get settled in OK...

Today Luke announced his resignation at FBCB. What a day. SOOO many mixed emotions. Sadness, fear, anger, and excitement. I wouldn't trade the past 14 months for anything - mainly b/c we have met so many wonderful people in B'ville! We have also learned a lot along the way about ministry and churches. What we would do differently next time. God has strengthened us, humbled us and refined us and continues to do so. I really feel like we are starting a new chapter in our lives. It definitely won't be easy and is not what we have chosen, but He is on the throne and has given us so many promises that keep our heads up and a smile on our faces. Come March 15th we will be heading home. Texas. Could be worst...
We covet all your prayers and all the encouragement you have given us!!!
We are claiming:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which trancends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:6-7
and
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Ps. 91:1-2
We are dwelling in His shelter.

Well, we are so saddened by this news. You will be missed. Steph was out of town and returned Sunday night, heard the news today at MOPS. (We missed church yesterday with the boys on the end of that tummy bug) We are all just heart broken. Kicking ourselves that we didn't take advantage of time with you: inviting you over for movies & games, dinner out, just good fellowship together. Your family is truly a blessing and you will always be welcome in our home. PLEASE call on Steph before you leave to babysit, I know she'll work for free just to have some more time with your kids!

Can you tell us where you are going and what you are going to do? Why are you leaving Oklahoma?
